  My 5 year old daughter got referred here 1.5 years ago for a cavity. Up until then she was scared of dentists and dental offices. Both the reception staff and nurses put her at ease immediately, and the examination went very well indeed. The dentist was very gentle with her, but also professional and clear in her advice and follow up instructions with me. She required a filling and child cap on her tooth, and she came out bouncing and happy at the end of the appointment. Parents are not allowed in the room with children during procedures, which is probably a good thing, and we have had the importance of parental involvement in cleaning and maintaining dental hygiene stressed to us, which some people may find rude, but I took as my due. The staff have always answered my questions patiently, professionally and in a friendly manner. We have stayed with Dental Care for Children because my daughter is so comfortable here. She loves the kid area to play in, and the toy she gets at the end of treatment, and is no longer anxious to visit the dentist, which to me is of utmost importance.
