  Very happy with the service here. I have 1 REAlLY hard to deal with child and 2 easy ones. As I could tell they were frustrated I applaud their ability to do this over and over without letting it get to them. I don't think the procedure could have been done better and the fact is the work got done. In addition, they got us in for a check up within 1 day when we determined it was an emergency and then a week before the procedure was completed. We will continue to come here for all our kids needs. Geoff

  My kids were patients of Dr. Barsky for 6+ years. We just recently made a switch to a family dental practice and I can honestly say we should have made this switch sooner! Each visit to see Dr. Barsky for dental work was a complete nightmare for my kids and myself. Basically, Dr. Barsky would work as fast as he could (and he is fast!) allowing the freezing to settle in for no more than 5 minutes and then working on my screaming child while two nurses would hold him. This all happening while another little patient sitting just a step from us awaiting his turn in terror. No privacy walls – all is happing in the same room. No laughing gas was ever offered. Some days the work was done with no freezing at all. I hated these visits but my kids have bad teeth, so regular visits were necessary. I thought my 5 yr old was just ….dramatic. This all ended when my 10 yr old who is not dramatic at all told me he is never going back. He said it hurt a lot when the doctor worked on his tooth and his jaw still hurt because Dr. Barsky had a firm grip on his jaw. He said his tooth was still not frozen and the freezing kicked in by the time we were leaving the office. He couldn’t say anything because the doctor was working on his tooth, so he just endured it. How nice… My girlfriend recommended to try a family dental clinic close to our home and they filled my 5 yr old son’s two deep cavities. They booked him in the same week. It is quite a change since it takes about 2 months to see Dr. Barsky. By that time the cavities would no doubt be worse! They used laughing gas and my child was relaxed thought completely responsive. When he got home he told his older brother – “it was great! It didn’t even hurt!” Breaks my heart. I am glad we are never going back. Please do your research and check out other new Family Practice Offices accepting little kids so that your child is not terrified of dentists for life.
