- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪In January of 2017 I tore the ligaments in the top of my left foot, as well as suffered an avulsion fracture. As a fitness instructor, and highly active individual, Dr. Gretton suggested I try prolotherapy treatments for the damaged and torn ligaments in my foot. Through a series of 5 prolotherapy sessions, I am so pleased to say that I have returned to my previous activity levels. The pain has diminished and functionality has returned. Although I do have some residual stiffness in my foot and ankle, I expect that will subside with time. Prolotherapy was certainly a key element in my recovery.
