  In late August 2017 I had gone for consultation for laser eye surgery. I was told that I was a good candidate and if agreed to proceed with my surgery. We booked the surgery for 6th October 2017 and I had requested a week off from work that was approved. On the day of my surgery I went to the clinic and the tech told me to have a test before they proceed with my surgery. To my surprise I was then told that I am not a candidate for this surgery. If this was the case why in the first place when they had carried out the test I was given a green light to proceed with the surgery? If there was a problem why was it not detected in the first place. Not only did they waste my time but also I am now at home for no reason for which I do not get paid.

  I had the lasers 2 months ago...all I can say is "it is the easiest thing to do, and now that I have done it, I wish I had done it sooner" For me, there was no pain, no downtime after the first day, just the simplest easiest thing. I couldn't even wear contacts before, because I couldn't put my finger in my eye, and I had heard horror stories of how it was 20 years ago. Consequently, I never considered surgery, until a friend filled me in on how easy his had been. I was shocked! I went in the following week and had it done. I am thrilled. Do not be afraid, it is so ridiculously easy why would you deny yourself?
