  I had my wisdom teeth removed a couple days ago using IV Sedation for the first time. I was a bit hesitant at first as I wasn't sure what to expect but they walk you right through what the feeling is like during sedation and what is going to happen step by step before you even go ahead with the procedure. What was explained and what actually happened (being conscious and able to respond during treatment) was right on point. After my extraction, I was able to sit up and stand up on my own and comprehend what was actually going on around me unlike some friends who've had regular oral sedation methods for their wisdom teeth extractions. I definitely liked the fact that through the IV after my procedure, they were able to administer pain killers so I didn't have to try and take any orally after my extraction. All in all, IV Sedation is the way to go! I'd recommend it to anyone for any wisdom teeth removals or people with low pain tolerance at the dentist. Thanks Dr. Khanna and the Midtown Dental crew!
