  I've been going to this Safeway for half a year now, and although it's a little on the smaller side I would rank it as one of the best grocery stores in town in terms of price, quality of the products, and professional attitude of the staff. Overall I find it's cheaper than the Brentwood Coop. I've never encountered less than courteous and friendly staff. The place is kept clean, and I've never seen rotting vegetables or mouldy bread on the shelves, like I've seen in lot of other stores (including Safeways) in town. They really do a good job. Open 8am-11pm every day, excepting reduced hours on holidays.

  The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I had three different employees engage me in a personal conversation. None of it was pushy; it was genuine and very friendly. The store had good markdowns on a wide variety of items and everything was fully stocked. The produce was great. This was my first shopping trip here and I will definitely be going back.
