  I used to be a patient of Dr. Chung's many years back when I was in high school. I accidentally broke the wires behind my teeth last night when I chewed into something hard, leaving me with a very uncomfortable feeling. The next morning, I called The Smile Spot and explained my situation and they were able to fit me in for an appointment within 20 min of my call. I briefly met Dr. Bhalla, and he recommended me invisible retainers instead of the older model of the wire because it would cause less build up with my teeth. Both him and the staff were very nice and I was not as nervous as I often am at the doctor's. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and they were able to relieve me of my discomfort and provide me new retainers for my teeth.

  They tend to over schedule a lot. My current appointment was supposed to be at 8:45 am. At the 9:30 mark I was finally able to sit in the chair. Waited 20 minutes for the lady to get her stuff together. She was also doing another persons mouth! My appointment was supposed to be a lengthy one. It was estimated to be an hour and a half long. I left at 1:30! While I was sitting in the chair and the lady who was supposed to be working on my mouth WAS JUST STANDING THERE WATCHING SOMEONE ELSE WORK. I think they need new staff.

  Dr. Bhalla has been treating my daughter since Jr. High. She was an extreme case and a child with anxiety. These factors did not make her or myself an easy patient. Dr. Bhalla and his staff were always kind and understanding. They set out everything at the beginning and we knew exactly what the path was going to be. The staff was consistent with little turn over which says a lot about the work environment and was a bonus for us as we knew most of the women working and were able to build rapport with them. We were always able to get last minute appointments for issues that popped up along the way and they were never put out that I was calling yet again with another issue. My daughter has now had her braces removed and is using the retainer and they still provided excellent service in the tail end of the treatment. I have to be honest and say that even when my daughter, myself and my husband were tired of the many years of treatment, (as I said earlier my daughter was an extreme case) Dr. Bhalla persisted, even through my overbearing mom appointments and encouraged us to see it through. My daughter is now out of high school (which means I have been with this office for MANY years) and I have and would recommend them to anyone looking for braces or any type of treatment.
