  I have been to many different dentists and hygenists in my life. The hygenist at Chinook Plaza dental was very rough and caused me a lot of pain while she was scaling my teeth. I generally have a high pain threshold, but tears were coming to my eyes it was so bad. My gums were sore for over a week afterwards, which is a first for me. On the plus side, I was able to arrange for a cleaning at this dental office without having to submit to a full examination the way some dentists insist on. This was the most painful scaling experience of my life and I will never return to this dental office. If you are looking for a new dentist, I would keep looking. With so many to choose from, why settle for service that is so poor?

  Generic, impersonal care. My insurance company covers cleaning every nine months, but that's too complicated for them to schedule. They run out of routine supplies. On one occasion, they couldn't connect to my insurance company on the day of care, asked me to cover the $400 cost up front, then took most of a year to repay me because they only do reimbursements twice a year (if you want a loan, at least have the decency to ask). After three years of being a patient, they still can't even pronounce my name: if I'm going to be a new patient every time, why not be a new patient somewhere else?

  Crystal was fantastic in organizing my health records and plans as I’m a student transitioning my life into a new province. Answered all my questions and was super helpful, patient, and kind! Dentist was also very straightforward and effective. Happy to have chosen Ti Dental for my new dentist.
